Brule River Fishing Opener

Annual Memorial Day Sunday Dinner at the Brule Town Hall, sponsored by
Waino Ever Rest Cemetery.
June
June 7th 2008 there will be a family fun day at the Bois Brule Fish Hatchery and Bois Brule Canoe Landing. There will be catch and release fishing, fly tying and fish filleting demonstrations, gyotaku (fish printing) on t-shirts (bring your t-shirt or purchase one for $5.00), hatchery tours, canoe trips, turkey calling demonstrations, and much more.
Register at the Hatchery for raffle prizes and gift bags for children. The activities will take place at the hatchery and the Bois Brule Canoe Landing. For more information or to volunteer call 372-5678 or 372-4820
August
Brule River Lions Club Annual Chicken Barbeque held the 2nd Sunday of
August at 11 a.m. They sponsor a 5-mile race and 2-mile walk held at 8
a.m. with prizes.
November
Brule Presbyterian Church Bazaar and Bake Sale (First Saturday of the
month)
The Brule River Lions Club meetings are 3rd Tuesday of each month at Round Up North.
